Mrs. Robinson as a Health and Resource Management Specialist for over 30 years for the U.S. Postal Service processed and managed data necessary for complying with the bureau and Office of Worker’s Compensation Program (OWCP) requirements for workers with occupational injuries or illness.
As a Worker’s Compensation Specialist, her responsibilities included:
Mrs. Robinson’s training included extensive hours of training from the Department of Labor and the U.S. Postal Service. She has a strong knowledge of the Federal Employee’s Compensation Act (FECA), Injury Compensation for Federal Employees (CA-810); and Federal Register U.S. Department of Labor (20 CFR Part 10). With this knowledge, she is competent in applying the regulations, laws and procedures in the processing of the claims.
Mrs. Robinson has provided training to numerous forums detailing the many benefits to both employers and employees. In addition, she has provided training for OWCP Rehabilitation Nurses regarding regulations and procedures on working with injured employees and Federal Agencies.
Mrs. Robinson has provided expert testimony in all forums including EEOC, Merit System Protection Board, Union Grievance Arbitration Process, and Federal Workers Compensation Act. She has, in addition, provided testimony in Unemployment Hearings, and Federal Cases with regard to workers compensation fraud and abuse.
